HRH the Princess Khetevane Bagration de Moukhrani
Was born in 1954 in Talence France. She holds degrees in Philosophy , Philology and Czech and Russian Languages. The Princess founded in 1991 the Italian – Georgian Association Scudo di San Giorgio of which she has been Chairman until 2005 when she became Georgian Ambassador to the Holy See. On that occasion Princess became Honorary Chairman of the Scudo di san Giorgio. In her capacity as Chairman of the Scudo di San Giorgio the Princess organized, together with WFP, FAO, Caritas, Red Cross etc, humanitarian Aid on Georgian territory, several cultural events in Italy and promoted various international initiatives.
In 1991 the Princess actively worked for the Official return from exile of the first Prince Bagration.
In 1995 the Princess received the Honorary Citizenship of Georgia.
In 1999 the Princess promoted the visit of Saint Giovanni Paolo II in Georgia.
From 2005 to 2014 the Princess is ambassador of Georgia to the Holy See.
From 2010 to 2014 the Princess is Ambassador of Georgia at the SMOM (Sovrano Militirare Ordine di Malta).
Lelio Niccolò Orsini d'Aragona
Was born in Rome in 1981 and holds dual Italian and Georgian Nationality. He has a BA in Philosophy from the Pontificia Università della Santa Croce. He is Chairman of the Association Scudo di San Giorgio in addition, he is a farmer and a real estate manager. In the past ten years Lelio was named by the Government of Georgia Official Member of State delegation for the Funeral of Saint Giovanni Paolo II and for the enthronements of Benedetto XVI and His Holyness Francesco. Moreover Lelio has been a Volunteer in Mexico with the Gioventù Missionaria in 1996 and has performed several humanitarian aids with the Red Cross and caritas Georgia in 2008 during the war with Russia. For this activities Lelio received in 2015 a gold medal from the Red Cross.
